この山は、やさしい山だ、おいしい山だ。

カルデラから水が流れ出るときに生き別れになった「夫婦亀石」。さっそうと波に乗った姿の「波乗観音」。そうした哀話や秘話に富んだ十三の神仏がある田子山。

頂上まで登ると、おおッという眺望、阿蘇の街が端から端まで見渡せます。その田子山を背景に建つのが小野聖子さんの店、名前もまさしく田子山。

農家れすとらん、と銘打つにはわけがある。小野家は米づくり、野菜づくり、そして畜産に精を出し、阿蘇の実りを収穫しつづける農家。

その実りが丹念な料理となってテーブルに姿をあらわす「れすとらん」なのだ。食材の生産は父が担い、母、嫁、ときには小学生の孫娘も加わった女性陣が店を切り盛りしています。

店の中央に自家の山の間伐材でつくった杉の柱、そこにめずらしい瘤ができている。その丸みはちょうど田子山のやさしさのように、こんもり、ほのぼのと。

The Japanese Brown species of cattle suitable for the environemnt of Aso,we call known as "red cattele(Akaushi)".

They are calm and the body is strong.The less wasteful fat content as the fleshy,frankly to taste,is very popular even in healthy women and children's.

Aso of grassland that is protected by people and red cattle with harmony

In Aso of grassland,about 10,000 head of cattle ,including the red cattle are grazing.By cattle trample and eat grass,prairie that grows short grass is kept.Grazing as well as a part of the economic activity of the livestock industry, it 's also one of the important life to protect the prairie environment.

Home of the red cattle also graze in the meadow of Daikanbo of Aso,it has bred in the countryside at the foot that.In Aso of grasslands,eat Landscape red cattle leisurely eat grass suits very well.The area of agriculture grazing is the mother cow and the calf.


This spring(2015),calf of twins was born.


Cute,cheerful,it has grown up quickly and healthily.
